Experimental software which does not sometimes work properly (no positive effect to EEG).
Software can change measurable brainwaves a bit but how it affects to brain performance is unknown.
Requires fast CPU and running times even for small effects are long (hours). Typically, you need about 10+ models before some useful results. It means hours of stimulation/computation.
Hosaka v3.09b requires in theory 11 hours of flawless EEG measurements before optimized machine learning model might have enough data to be reliable.
You need to actively concentrate on the audiovisual stimuli for hours which is tiresome. You can also only use software audio-only and listen sounds with headphones and with eyes closed.
Not for people with epilepsy. Flíckering lights and sounds.
Changes to EEG or EEG-metrics is sometimes about 1-3%. 5-10% change is (maybe)needed for measurable cognitive effects (thought faint signals are also important brain processes).
Command-line software is difficult to use but there is also graphical user interface version.
